My son adores science, and was thrilled when this kit arrived in the post. Only drawback was having to buy seeds separately, but it did mean we could substitute the suggested plant as well.

He has enjoyed seeing the difference between growing on soil or on grit, and measuring his plants - the little greenhouse and pots are an ideal size to sit on the windowsill and including a magnifying glass is a nice touch.
